It’s important they know their worth is not tied to their location and the opinion of other people who randomly wound up on the same part of the planet.
It’s important we all know that, actually.
Depth in relationships. Depth because at the end of it all, there won’t be that many people sitting by your hospital bed. Depth because there is no joy greater than being known. Depth because we are all searching for purpose or joy or love or a something in this universe we can hold on to.
And yes, depth because width is overrated.
